Scholarships


Scholarship forms are available at Southington High School or they can be downloaded from this web site. Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1,500.00 per student. The money is paid directly to the college or university that the student is attending. The scholarships are paid in increments of $500.00 for the first three semesters of school.
Scholarship open to any Southington resident only.

Nursing Scholarship Past Recipients

Established in 1982 in memory of Kay Calvanese, who volunteered many years at Bradley Memorial Hospital. Awarded to a Southington adult or high school grad who is pursuing a carerer in the nursing field.

Established in 2011. Awarded to a student continuing their education in the field of early childhood or elementary education.

Dr. Kilowatts Electrical Scholarship

Established in 2018 in memory of Gary Celella, Jr. Awarded each spring to an individual who wants to pursue a career as an electrician. This scholarship is available to students or adults in the Southington community.
